Ian Abdulla

The Long and the Short of it

Ian Abdulla will be presenting a small but exceptional exhibition entitled "The Long and the Short of it" at CCAE on the 15th of August. The works will present a discourse of his childhood and lifetime experiences spent around the Murray River region in South Australia. Abdulla's wonderful interpretations with written narratives of moments such as sitting around a fire, hunting and eating rabbits and playing football have made him one of Australia’s most celebrated “Outsider” artists. Ian will be included in this years National and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA) for the 11th time.
