Rob Brown
Rock Art & Sausage Roll
If music is the key that unlocks the door to memories and emotions then lyrics are the vehicle for the imagery. This is the inspiration behind Rob Brown's latest exhibition 'Rock Art & Sausage Roll'. Brown comments "these paintings are not so much album covers but illustrations to individual songs and their lyrics "...I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die","...at the age of 37 she realised she'd never drive through Paris in a sports car with the warm wind in her hair". Brown's exhibition is an ancknowledgement of the inspiration that music presents to artists.
