Ian Abdulla's works present a discourse of his childhood and lifetime experiences spent around the Murray River region in South Australia. Abdulla's wonderful interpretations with written narratives of moments such as sitting around a fire, hunting and eating rabbits and playing football have made him one of Australia’s most celebrated “Outsider” artists.
